Football Leaks/Der Spiegel articles

We failed FFP and missed the maximum allowable deviation by something like £78m. Do you think UEFA will be getting a hard-on because we really failed by £10m/£20m more than that?

If we're genuinely self-sustaining these days then UEFA won't really be too interested in re-opening this I'm sure.

Weren't PSG fined a similar amount to us at the same time, and agreed a similar deal.
This was when Qatar had just bunged them £200m of back dated sponsorship that UEFA decreed not in the spirit of things....

I think that's wishful thinking on your behalf.

It’s logical thinking for anybody without blue delusion; UEFA will face mass revolt if they don’t act on proven self-subsidised sponsorship that has facilitated artificial compliance with the rules, and the residual capacity to assemble a circa-£850m squad as a result.

This isn’t an attack on Manchester City, rather a crusade against Oil State’s using their infinite wealth to buy success, under the false guise of individual ownership and organic growth; winning in such an manner isn’t achievement, but inevitability.

Such an era of anti-sport is unprecedented, and ultimately unenjoyable for those without an inferiority complex; all of the bleating about the ‘G14’ is laughably paradoxical, considering we’ve now leapfrogged them all in terms of vulagarity and monopoly.

The ultimate goal, given all of the propaganda regarding the academy and a holistic approach etc, should have been our own Class of ‘92, but instead, the revelations of the past week have exposed those running the club as extremely dubious characters, and in reality have ended up with the Lacking Class of ‘18.

Fair play to Vicky Kloss for advising the snakes against accepting the Arabtec blood money; she’s one of the few morally sound elements of the club these days. It’s a shame those who used to dine out on being a ‘proper club’ aren’t similarly dignified.

You’re either selectively, or ignorantly, missing the point that the only reason they bought the club in the first place was as a massive advertising platform in the Premier League/Champions League; they’re projecting their State and it’s affiliated airline onto the world via City.

With that in mind, the genesis of their own competition would defy the entire point of the investment in the first place; the current European elite clearly have no interest in competing with infinite wealth, so there’s not a chance they’d participate in a competition governed by the same people they’re trying to handicap. As a result, any independent competition would lack prestige and ultimately be pointless.

If they earned three times the amount of winning the champions league for reaching the quarter finals of the cwc then they would be interested.

Haha, I take it you've handed back your membership after this week exposure.

Blue delusion, oil state, class of 92, Arab money.

Pmsl.

Why are you pretending to be a City fan on a rival team’s forum? It’s the weekend mate. Have a night off.

That’s all very well and good, but what about Martin Edwards’ proclivity for peeping under womens’ toilet cubicles?
