Football Leaks/Der Spiegel articles

They are just crying because all 3 German teams are going out in the last 16 to English teams. Nothing more than that really.

I'd give Bayern a chance next week, at least to take a lead to Klanfield.

Van Dijk is suspended and Lovren is still struggling with a hamstring injury.

With Gomes out already, their back line could be Fabinho and Matip in the centre.

Bayern might be creaking but they have enough to build up a cushion facing that.

Which works for us, regardless.

Think the first leg is at Anfield mate?

Well, if you have 5 minutes, here's the latest piece.

If you can't be bothered here's the tl;dr: German football good, English football bad.

80€ for a ticket to Schalke?? They’re £30-£50.

De Bruyne apparently cost as much as VVD?

The whole thing is based on lies.

German is dead because of Bayern & FFP.

Safe standing, good ticket prices & beer is what we need to learn from our German friends. They need to learn about competition.

Spot on. The German League is a usually dull procession due to Bayern’s dominance. It’s the SPL with better and cheaper beer.

As always, The Guardian has it`s own agenda and Barnay can be wishy washy and very inconsistent saying one the thing one week and contradicting himself 3 days later in his flowery match `reports`. That said, the 2 pieces below are worth reading despite being incomplete and constrained due to space and the authors own slant.
