Football Leaks/Der Spiegel articles

I get city being all tight lipped but surely the continued attacks, insinuations and accusations from Duncan castles, nick harris and Jonathan norcroft surely boarder on being, if not absolutely litigious ?(sorry if I used the term incorrectly)
Yes you can throw around the term allegedly as much as you like but how are they getting away with the things they are writing on twitter ?
Castles is well known for threatening legal action on anyone who dares say anything remotely unkind about him so why haven’t our lawyers gone down a similar route with these three wankers ?

I doubt our owners have any intention of engaging with Harris, Castles and/or Norcroft. To do so would give credence to their opinions and open the door for others to become involved in the discussion.

I don’t think it insinuates guilt but it sends a message that you can’t just around assassinating someone’s character without proof. Journalists aren’t above accountability too

Why put any energy into an orchestrated defence. These people have already found us guilty, presenting the facts wouldn't change their opinion or the opinion of opposition fans.

If we are found guilty I just hope we don't take it lying down like we did with the 49m ffp fine.
I want us to fight the fcukers until death.

I agree, proving oneself not guilty in the media has always been difficult. In the current biased climate probably impossible even when armed with factual evidence.

We didn't take it lying down. It was a consensus decision between Us and UEFA, Infantino acted as a mediator.

I agree with you Bob and I'm sure, behind the scenes, City are all over this and will be getting the best legal advice possible. Those three knob-heads are pretty much at the bottom of the food chain when it comes to journalism which is why I'd be surprised if City even acknowledged their existence. The Sheiks ownership is seen to be mostly about creating positive publicity for Abu Dhabi and this campaign seems designed to create negativity around the club albeit to what end, I can't imagine. That said, I wouldn't shed many tears if any, or all, of them suffered a long and painful professional disaster.
