Comes with 282 coat hangers as well ;)282 shirts in the collection.
£1,000,000 means £3546 a shirt?
Am I missing something?
I know some of them are old but a lot are also pretty recent.

The auction website quotes an estimate of £500k - £1m with bidding starting at £400k. You need to go to the ‘bid online’ link to see that info.Is he though? I can’t see any mention of a figure other than the MEN headline. Can’t see a minimum bid on the auction site.
There are a couple of absolute gems that would be of interest to non-City collectors, namely the ‘26 cup final shirt and the ‘69 cup final shirts. I would imagine the ‘26 shirt would easily amass the highest value, were it sold separately.
Modern match day shirts, worn and signed seem to garner anything between 500 and a grand.
The yellow away kit would probably get ten to twenty grand.
One million though? Who knows?
Ah hadn’t seen that. I was going to bid £399k so, sadly, that’s me out.The auction website quotes an estimate of £500k - £1m with bidding starting at £400k. You need to go to the ‘bid online’ link to see that info.
My first thoughts were it seems a lot of money but then I saw there was a Buster Phillips shirt in the collection!
As City fans we'd love to see this at the Etihad but it smacks a bit of Pawn Stars where someone walks into the shop wants $500,000 and then gets whittled down to a cup of coffee and a Subway voucher.
If City are interested, I think that’s why they maybe holding tight.
Who’d pay £3.5k for a match worn Buster Philips shirt?
I’ve got a KDB worn training top, given to me after KDB had a practice shot, that hit me full on in the face, as I was looking away, and knocked me off my seat in the lower tier of the Chelsea away end. If anyone wants it for £2K, PM me. ;-)
Alan Ball?Who’d pay £3.5k for a match worn Buster Philips shirt?
He’d have paid £10m for his shirt…Alan Ball?
