Think I've heard this one before.....did he wear glasses?
Heard it in a quiz somewhere,is the team Blackpool?

Unless I'm completely wrong.

Preston North End goalkeeper J F Mitchell, the only goalkeeper to wear spectacles in an FA Cup Final 1922.

Either that or the year after he was responsible for perfecting the rules of musical chairs.

correct, well done chaps - first and last player to wear specs in a Cup Final in 1922 for Preston v Huddersfield at Stamford Bridge,
Nobody seems to know his first name.

Haha, had a search when you posted, nobody knew his name.....I heard the question a few weeks back and remembered summat about a keeper and glasses, was a guess to be honest.

Apologies to George and Matty but this has just come up on MOTD 2 by Trevor Sinclair.

Ex City player and boyhood blue Trevor ( why can't we have him on MOTD every week by the way) has just mentioned that Lukaku is one of only four players to score a hat trick against United in the Premier League.

David Bentley did it for Blackburn and a QPR reserve Denis Bailey was another.

Sat here trying to think of the fourth.

In a couple of weeks of time Kun or Edin are destined to be the fifth.
