He scores a decent amount? You dont actaully know do you? Why dont you check first then decide if he is the man to score the goals to take us forward.

Yeah mate, a decent amount. you look it up. He is roughly 1 in 3. Last player we had with somewhere near that ratio?? Anelka, now he wasnt bad was he. Whats defoes goalscoring record. That i dont know but id say roughly 1 in 3.

Well I wont guess I will tell you exactly! Since he moved to Liverpool in June 06 (2 1/2 years ago) he has scored a total of 13 goals. I have a feeling that must be on a par with Mr.Vassell?

Wrong mate. I have agreed that he has had injury problems but if we could get him fit then he is as good as anyone outside the top 4. you cannot simply use the number of goals he has scored in a given time to back up your argument. If thats the case i will say Bojinov is shit as he has scored no goals in 18 months. So you say 13 goals. In how many appearances. I would bet its less than 50.

Now you might tthink that that backs your argument regarding his lack of matches, and that I wont disagree with, but you cant argue with his goals to games ratio.

His stats are 9 in 33 for Liverpool and 4 in 16 for the Hammers. In my opinion not good enough you have your opinion but thats mine.

13 goals in 50 appearances in the league.
17 goals in 67 appearances in all comps.

Poor, poor, poor.

Granted. But he might never play again as well. Look I'm starting to sound like Bellamy's biggest fan and i'm far from it. Just saying if he got a run of games he is a good player (better than Vass) and 1 in 3 is better then any of our current strikers excl rob.

Them stats speak for themselves a complete waste of time who will cost over £12mil be on a 3/4yr contract at around £80k a week and if things go to plan he wont be in the team in 12months an we'll be stuck with him.

so roughly 1 in three for liverpool
and one in 4 for hammers
sounds decent tbh

More like 1 in 3 and a half for the scousers, 1 in 4 for West Ham.

Thats a poor record for a supposed goalscorer.

maybe but he doesnt need to be prolific, robinho will still get most goals we just need bellemy to get us a few 1-0 wins

£10m and £100k a week for someone that doesn't score goals but gets us the odd 1-0 win. No thanks.

And West Ham have a better record when he doesn't play than when he does, so it's questionable whether he can even offer us that.

If its 1-0 wins your after you need to concentrate on the other end of our team. We dont do many goaless draws.

He probably got 1 in 1 for the U-11''s how far back is relavent? I would suggest like with ANY striker its the last couple of years.

1 in 1?? See what are we arguing about. Offer £25m and get him in.

I know mate, it was a while ago, it was just under Hughes is what I was saying.

We all want Villa and Benzema and Kaka etc etc but they arent going to come just yet. We need people who improve the teamm and (if fit) i think he would. Can understand why he isnt everyones glass of coke.
