For all the ANTI-Bellamy

he also banged them in for hughes at blackburn. if he signs him we're gonna have to give the guy a chance ffs.

Correct, but its still not good enough for city according to some - for the record a goal every 147 mins played whilst at Blackburn

Over the last 4 seasons his goals scored to minutes on the pitch is right up there with the best strikers, even when he is in and out of a team through injuries he scores goals - his record since feb 05 is a goal every 185 mins. Add all the additional effort he puts in and he doesnt sound like a bad player to me.

Ha ha, February 2005. If we're going to include SPL stats I reckon we're going to have a whole lot more "quality strikers" to choose from, including one G.Samaras. And why not all of the 2004/05 season, last six months at Newcastle not so good?

In the premier league he scores a goal every 219 minutes since the start of the 2005/06 season. We could even go more recent, in the last 3 seasons he has a goal every 276 minutes played. And while we're speaking of minutes played, he has participated in less than 50% of the total match time his teams have been involved with in that period. Seeing as first choice when fit at Blackburn and West Ham, that reeks of bad injury record to me.

He left Blackburn over two and a half years ago, he has had one or two injuries since then.

Tell you what, we'll sign Freddie Ljungberg too because two and half years ago he was playing well for Arsenal.

Jeez is this how much Hughes has knocked the confidence out of people in our club that we are now accepting this clown as a potential signing. The thought of signing him makes me sick, even if we don't get him Hughes admission he tried at all says it all about him.

It is worrying your right and then the well we need to walk before we can run idea, I mean is Bellamy the type of player that a top 6 team needs which I would have thought would have been our 1st goal?

He has scored a goal every 183 minutes since he has signed for West Ham. That sort of record would clearly improve us.

He's scored 6 goals in 1677 minutes in the league for West Ham (goal every 279 minutes) and 2 goals in 166 minutes in cups for West Ham (goal every 83 minutes).

So I think you must have closed your eyes for 50 minutes in between every goal.

We have too many fans who will just accept any crap were given. The deluded idiots think its called "supporting the team". Well I'm sorry we need to get out of this loser mentality and start demanding better.

Could you score against Denmark in Copenhagen, against Barcelona in the Nou camp or against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge?

Oh and for the record if we take the San Marino games out of the reckoning his goals per minute ratio improves to a goal every 183 minutes......

I've heard it all now! So we can not judge a striker on how often he scores a goal?

yes and its a reason i dont want bellamy. but the main reason is his behaviour and attitude.

try defending that !

so a goal every 200 mins is not good enough a strike rate for you?

is a player who attacks his teammates, refuses to play in another position, throws a chair at club coach or causes that much trouble in a dressing room that he has to be shipped to scotland on loan for his own safety good enough for you ?

I assume as you avoided the question you know full well his goalscoring record is quite clearly good enough.

As for his behaviour, I couldnt really care less about incidents that happened 4+ years ago. I want City to win things and to win thing we need to improve the team Bellamy clearly improves the first 11, and would be a good squad player when we are in a position to sign the likes of Villa and Kaka - which quite clearly we are not at the moment.

You cant twist facts. Every club he has been at he has scored goals when he has been on the pitch.
