Its not a bold statement really, thay have a duty to liase with the police on these days as part of their licence.

If Virgin leaves 1000s of their customers at Euston its the police who will deal with it.

And then its not like its the first time this has happened either.

A train ticket for an OAP would have to be accompanied by a Senior Railcard. A match ticket for an OAP has a (very small) C on the back of the ticket.
