I heard an interview with the Inspect or of the BTP last week. It was suggested that if all the trains before the game are full of fans, there could be 10,000 by train.
However, there are only 5 trains after the game which can move 2000.
The interviewer asked what were the plans for the remaining 8,000. The copper said that Virgin have agreed that tickets can be used on Sunday morning.
The interviewer then said that there would be 8000 unhappy passengers in Euston without tickets and no hotels booked on a busy weekend. The inspector said 'They can use their tickets next day'.
Usual forward thinking..............
