I'd accept them coming over to England but only if they started from the Blue Square Prem level.
IMO, if Celtic & Rangers were put straight into the PL, I think (Rangers certainly) Celtic would be possible relegation candidates in the first season.

Wigan for La Liga?

cardiff and swansea (and other welsh clubs) joined the english leagues when there was no welsh league.
thats the difference
