Just took the foolowing quote from the Evening News website. It is direct from Toure himself, and pretty much says what I have said all thread:

“We have to improve our defending, including myself,” he said. “But we have not known each other for long, and for a defence to work takes more time"

No, is anyone going to go to the training ground and question Toure on this statement the same way they question my reasons on here? Toure hits the nail right on its shiny fucking head there, because it does take time. Its not even an excuse really, its a fact.

funny how the lads at Villa have gelled pretty well....

Is Villas starting eleven made up of 5 new faces this season?

I also think people are being a bit disrespectful to other Premier League clubs, I actually think the league is better this season and that is why points are being taken of the top 4 and ourselves, lets not forget Burnley beat United, Birmingham got a good win against Sunderland the week before we got a point there and if I am not mistaken Wigan beat Chelsea 3-1 the week before we played there.

United put 5 past Wigan and Pompey beat them 4-0.
Burnley hadnt got a point away from home and only scored twice in 5 attempts
Birmingham beat Sunderland? So the 18th best team beat the 9th beat team in the league and that makes it ok for us to register one shot on goal?

The Premier League is more open this season, surely you can see that. We need time before we can expect to take three points every week on the road, the home draws have been disappointing but Fulham are a good team this season and Burnley shouldn't be classed as shit because of who they are, I think they have played well this season.

What a totak hack of an areguement! how can you say hmmm 5 new faces so nonsulantly? Whats half of 11? 5.5, and the last time I checked we can't chop players in half, therefore the best part of our entire first team is new, or do you not understand that?

Burnley are a championship side who cost 8.6 million and they scored 3 at our ground and for periods outplayed us..

where is the progression ?
