had the pfizer one in january-no side effects at all. i have a weekly swab test and the quality of the kits is getting poorer.

Had the AZ jab on Tuesday, felt tired after an hour of having it so had a nap. Watched the match then went to bed, was really restless and felt like I was burning up. Had a better night last night but still feel really warm and have a cracking headache.

I had Pfizer in January. Very tender arm for a day or so. Felt like it would be a big bruise, but nothing to see! My work colleagues were mostly the same, one or two had flu like aches. Next dose at the end of this month hopefully.

Not me(not had it yet) but the wife had a really bad 48 hours with alternate chills & hot flushes. Also had painful joints and serious fatigue. Not great on top of her usual issues.

Is the 2nd jab a weaker version of it or the same strength? Hopefully the 1st jab will help anyway unless that's not how it works?

Edit: I forgot her headache & sore throat symptoms too.
And as luck would have it, just had my date for the 11th of March. Bumped up the list as an 'unpaid carer' apparently although given I hit 60 at the end of the month , it's not much of a bump.

I have the flu jab every year and have never had even a sore arm from it so I'm hopeful of no side effects.
