Wife had a sore arm after the Pfizer for a couple of days. I had a sore arm and mild symptoms after AZ so not much in it for us

I had the AZ first jab 24 hours ago and no effects at all so far. Actually, I didn't notice the jab go in, and would have almost quite liked a side effect to prove I had it !

Mrs Unicorn (age band below) gets hers this Thursday so watching me closely...

Pfizer second dose is meant to be a bastard, AZ first dose is the bastard. AZ second dose is meant to be a lot easier. Just the other way around for some reason.

Had the AZ a couple of weeks ago. Next morning a felt as though I had the Flu. Couple of days later, I felt fine.

My arm is still a little sore though.

I had my jab on a Thursday evening but only got side effects Saturday. Probably peaked around lunchtime. Really wasn't much tbh, just spent the day resting/sleeping. So I'd agree, stand by!

Has anybody you know who has had the jab subsequently test positive after the normal incubation and infectiousness period?

We had a doctor test positive in QLD after receiving the jab however he was more than likely positive prior to receiving the jab.

Hotel quarantine stuff ups and a slow vaccination roll out give our state leaders the lovely excuse to shut down businesses if not the whole state every time there is any community spread and to shut down borders again.

Mind you the elections have been held in QLD and NT and WA all incumbents winning in massive landslides because they kept the State " safe " (LOL) so lockdowns are not hopefully political football as they have been used in the past.

Oxford jab, felt fine all day and then had the worst night's sleep (or lack of) of my life. Next night wasn't much better. Had pretty much all the common side-effects, one after another. By the third day I was right as rain, although my arm is still a bit sore.

I had my AZ jab at the Etihad nearly 3 weeks ago. I didn’t feel the jab at all and I was a bit surprised when I was told it was done. I was fine for about 24 hours and then felt as though I had a hangover, I had a bit of a headache and felt just out of sorts. I slept ok that second night and the third day I felt a bit drained, but nothing too bad. My arm then hurt for three or four days after this. All in all, it wasn’t too bad and I understand that the AZ one causes the most reaction on the first dose and for the Pfizer one, it’s the second dose.
