Forget Eto'o, Villa, Kaka and all

Santa Crock is a talented player but a huge injury risk.; simple as that. A risk exacerbated by having another treatment room friendly striker in Bellamy. Perhaps Hughes wants the team's new nickname to be be Dodgy Knees R Us.
 
santa cruz would be a great addition and a good target man for us with tevez and robbie picking up on his flick ons and knock downs, he can hold the play up to bring the likes of shauny and superman into the attack. imo he had a great first season playing under HUGHES, then last season yeah he may of been injured and to be honest with all the speculation of rejoining hughes his heart wasnt in it at blackburn and this was clearly evident in the way he was when fit, either that or he just cant stand working under allardyce. so im all for him coming to us imagine the front 3 tevez right side santa in the middle and robbie left side, sounds pretty good to me and very realistic.

Always been bang on or pretty much to be fair. Would listen to him over the bullshitters on here.
 
RSC is fine by me.

I've watched him closely for a while and he's the type like Barry who does the easy and often unnoticed things well. So he's been injured this season..? That happens to players. If he passes a medical then we know we have a very good if not great PL forward who Hughes knows and is a top professional. I'd be more than happy if he's in a city shirt next year.

But having said that, I reckon we'll still get Eto'o... And Tevez.

RSC was the best striker of his type in the premiership the season before last.

Last season he was injured and spat the dummy when Blackburn kept him during the January window.

Would be a good signing for us
 
I can understand why people question RSC on fitness grounds, but not on footballing grounds. The lad is a great player: he can head (probably the best attacking header of the ball in the league), pass, shoot with both feet, and is intelligent. What's not to like? He has all the attributes we've been crying out for.

Sure, given the injuries, you wouldn't want to rely on him. But bear in mind that it's not just Hughes who rates him: Sven wanted to sign him when he was going to Rovers, and (allegedly) he was the second choice for Fergie if they failed to get Berbatov. Given that he is extremely unlikely to be our only signing up front, he'd be a great buy. If not him, then we should try for Crouch, but I would prefer Santa.

Please believe me RSC was not crocked last season, that said I think we will sign better than him!
