Forget Trump & Putin - China is the biggest threat to Europe.

Another shocking (though not surprising) scene. At Yasukuni Shrine on August 15, the person circled in red on the left is a Japanese wearing the uniform of the Imperial Japanese Army in World War II, and the person on the right is a man holding a flag of "Manchukuo" (a puppet state established by Japan within China's territory).

Have all these things only happened yesterday? We've long known that it was so last year, five years ago, ten years ago—always the same. This is the real world. You may call it "value rules," you may call it "mighty rules," No matter what you think, that's just how things are.
 
The Great and the Good are appearing at the Shanghai conference - and by that I mean the Legion of the Damned with Putin, Kim Jong-Un and Iranian President Pezeshkian up front and centre as China’s Xi talks about a new world order and ‘peace’ without a hint of irony.

That India showed up despite being involved in a territorial dispute with China for the last decade with sporadic casualties on both sides is a great win for US diplomacy and all this against a backdrop of an American President hiding from cameras and tweeting batshit nonsense at 3am when the meds kick in.

Still, I guess there is a chance Trump does something decisive to reassure US ‘allies’ - like invading Chicago or Greenland.

Eventually, Indians will come to understand that playing the role of America's frontline against China will not benefit them.

Maybe, but there are natural tensions between China and India. Both have aspirations to lead and that will eventually come to a head. This alliance feels temporary and one of mutual convenience.

I don't think this is an alliance. It's merely a reduction of hostile actions. And yes, this situation likely won't last very long and could change at any time. Who knows, if the Democratic Party in the U.S. wins another election, they might once again "pivot to Asia." When that happens, India would probably revert to its original stance.

China have got bigger fish to fry at the moment. Thanks to the mango Mussolini’s stupidity they are slowly taking the lead as the foremost power in the world. They’re more likely to come to a Hong Kong style arrangement with Taiwan without a shot being fired the way things are going.

Maybe. Hopefully anyway. This world is awful. I am not arsed about my future but for my children and grandkids I really do hate what the future holds for them. Not just in this respect either.
 
The USA and Europe's fault we grew fat and lazy and rely on cheap goods from China which has made them extremely wealthy, being good communists they've spent this wealth on improving the lives of the people. Well either that or vast amounts of military spending.

All this saber rattling from all sides isn't a good thing, especially with the amount of nut jobs in power at the mo.
 
Seeing India standing shoulder to shoulder with Purim, Xi, Kim and Iran is truly worrying.

It really does look like a new world order. The west has been divided by Trump with his constant attacks on his allies and has never looked weaker in my lifetime.

Sadly I think it’s when not if the missiles start flying, so much dick swinging going on by 4 blokes in charge of nukes. These 4 hold the lives of billions in their hands and it’s disgusting as I get older the madder I get at this, if you could take all 4 out easily and make it clear that their positions should be to make peoples lives better not control them the same will happen.
The only way I can see us avoiding extinction is done ground breaking scientific breakthrough which hands the power back to the people.

China isn't going to attack anybody.
The military parade is there to show that any country which tries to attack it will face very strong opposition.
