Forgotten Recent(ish) City Players

Eike Immel- the keeper who Alan Ball decided to replace Tony Coton with. Wasn't very good at saving either in net for us or in his personal life it seems. Read an article about how he is now skint and homeless.

Gai Assulin- signed him from Barca and I was convinced he was gonna be great for us. Never played a game for us and not heard of him since.

Matias Vuoso-Keegan signed him for about 6 million and eagerly went to Hyde to watch him play. Absolutely average and I don't think he played for the first team. Think he went back to south america and did alright though.

Adebayor-was gutted when we signed him and happy to see the back of him.

Gerard Wiekens-Player of the year in 98-99 and I f**king loved him for what he did for us that season.

My brother used to say that there were three words that summed up how crap we had become. Jason, Van and Blerk.

Some names I haven't thought about in a long time....

Vedran Corluka
Valeri Bojinov
Felipe Caicedo
Martin Petrov

Wouldn't say most of them are forgotten?

well they are not talked about a lot even though were great servants which I thought was the point, ones that were good but not really acknowledged as much anymore, not naming all the shite we have had like Eike Immel.

Anyway add Ricky Holden to the list

May have missed these going through the thread so apologies if already mentioned> Anyway in no particular order: Jimmy Conway, Ged Keegan, Keith Macrae, Andrew Elliott (one game same era as Gary Jackson), David Phillips (he must have been mentioned?!) Derek Parlane, Graeme Sinclair, Graham Baker, Neil Heaney,Barry Siddall, Gordon Dalziel, Dom Sullivan, Gordon Smith
