We need to play milner with fernandinho n yaya and revert to one up top better teams will rip us playing that system.also does anyone feel we lack a quality ball winner still?.

Personally i wouldn't have played 4 4 2 today, think milner and rodwell would have been ideal but you couldn't predict the performances of zabba,fernandinho and hart

5 in midfield with one having to be Milner because we are a better team away from home when he plays.

I know he scored but Džeko effects so little of the game when we play against packed defences. Because he has a poor first touch, when there's so many people in a small area, the ball is intercepted too easily and we lose possession.

I'd also like to see Rodwell as he's got that desire in his game where he won't be beaten to the ball which Yaya just doesn't have. So either Rodwell with Yaya or Rodwell with Fernandinho.

Being Navas off the bench to change the game and add pace into the game, not tart with it and have him run out of steam and ideas in one half. Depends what sort of defenders we're up against to which of Kun and Negredo plays up top.

I think formation play the part but to break the bus is another part to be considered.
Mancini tried 3-5-2 to get control in middle pitch but not successful.
Pelli set high defensive line to break the bus but not yet successful.
Both plan are not bad but our players cannot adopt to manager plan is the key of failure.
If defenders still cannot organize in new plan, any formation will not be the answer.

We didn't lose because of 442, we dominated, and lost because of poor defending on 2 corners and 1 phase of open play when we had all men back behind the ball.
