It was a 3/4, 4/3, 2/8, but the width on the right was dependent on Richards getting forward as Ireland was playing in the middle. Adebeyor was a wide, central forward player, with Robinho sweeping the upper third. Barry was double covering Sylvinho with de jong covering from deep. The forward line didn't track back enough whilst the full backs should have got forward more. RSC was brought on because he's scored against Spurs before!

Looked a 433 to me, which I do like. Suits our squad and is pretty adaptable depending on the circumstances of the game.

Only way to shut a player like Lennon out is to double up on him. All tottenhams goals go thru him. Barry and sylvinho on the left would have worked wonders. Try telling Hughes that!!!!
