Formula 1 2022

There are a couple of bits on that track that look like red flags waiting to happen, as well as places where a car can just slide off track.
 
I can see a few red flags before this weekend is over. A couple of dicey spots.

New wing on Mercedes which Russell seemed to have got Mercedes like pace back with.

Good to see the Mercedes getting closer, but could revert once we see the full strength of others, especially MV. Great from Russell and he’s really got the bit between his teeth.

What is it with Saint? He could be a great wingman but has such a habit of dropping it. He really needs to step-up otherwise he’s leaving Le Clerc exposed to RB and Mercedes.

Will McLaren get any better?

Hopefully the Mercs will start getting their mojo back a bit now to shake up the other two.
 
Hamilton and Vettel appear to be taking the FIA’s ban on jewellery and new underwear inspections very seriously.

Sainz has signed his new contract but if he continues like this when Ferrari have a car that is cabable of winning races they may look elsewhere. Lando Norris or Pierre Gasly would be worth a shout.
 
Max struggling and Mercs excelling in practice. Should make interesting 3rd session and qually later.
 
Just watching the W series qualifying.

What a load of patronising shit from F1.

$500,000 to the winner. Hamilton won't get out his bed whilst scratching his bollock for that.

Afaik it's nothing to do with F1 apart from sharing a lot of the calendar now.

Before it was on the same calendar roughly as the DTM (German Touring Cars).

Will be interesting to see how the track races.

Safety car until the last lap to make it exciting. Who knew that would work....

It was more a comment on the production and general talking down of the drivers.


It feels a bit obscene to me. Parroting the words of "A possible female F1 star";

Whilst paying lip service to their class of racing.

Bit like the way the WSL is treated to the PL.
