Formula 1 2022

What a good weekend of F1. Lots of racing, some decent tactics and I thought Ferrari could’ve caught Hamilton going into the last laps. Really enjoyed it.

And, it’s so easy to see why, unless you are a MV fan, how much of a **** he can be. Forget the fact that he still tries to push the limits by crashing into opponents, what he just did to his team mate was absolutely rank.

Some good drives all around, the best driving weekend of the season for me.
 
I'm reading that Perez has said something along these lines over the radio.

"It shows who he really is" about Max.

Will be interesting to see that verified. Very short sighted from Max if he's upset what I would think must be close to a perfect teammate.

Sky are full blown RB/MV/CH sycophants. The way they partied at the end of last season following the pits of corruption that F1 pulled, said all that is needed to know.

They were miserable as sin following the contact and, even though everybody could see different, they tried to pin the incident on LH. The tears were palpable and their only saving grace was that GR took it rather than LH.

On a positive, good from Mercedes and Ferrari, great for Magnussen and Russell, and a nice shout for Alonso holding off the RBs.

MV is a self-entitled little boy, he puts himself above everything, even the team. Not what I want to see in a dangerous sport.
 
Congrats to Russell. Well deserved and mature win.

Interesting race. Verstappen not showing his best side towards the team and his teammate. Probably pissed off for the time penalty. As a world champion he should’ve agreed to let Perez have 6th place.
 
So, what happened between MV and Perez? Any links/footage?

"I gave my reasons, the team understood, but i'm not going to tell you why"

The first time he has been put under pressure, and he cracked. What he did to Perez and the team is unforgivable.

Such a let down.

Pressure? Cracked? Unforgivable?

Remember Pep stating it shows no respect when you hand in a present. Perez shud’ve done better to be in a better position. Numerous races to do so. He has had the same car as Verstappen.
It’s just my personal opinion Verstappen shud’ve given up 6th place. But that’s far from unforgivable.

No need to be defensive, MV is who he is. I’m just giving an objective opinion.

The message he sent back to the team was telling. After many, many, years of watching, I’ve never seen anything like it.
