Fouling Haaland

As a City supporter I am naturally bias, but game after game Haarland is fouled on and off the ball without the offenders being penalised. I am assuming that shoulder charging in the back and wrapping arms around an opponent are still regarded as fouls.

Nothing new there. Bear-hugging and piggy-backing on players are still fouls, but it doesn't apply to Haaland. In the refs' eyes, he is "just that good" that they feel inclined to give defenders a 'fair edge'.

All that talk about Rudiger "pocketing him" that time was mostly just Rudiger hugging him from behind like the scene from Titanic.

Seriously though, it's infuriating, the even weirder phenomenon is that as soon as Haaland reacts (normally less physical than the initial action and generally within the spirit of a 'fair scrap') in any way to the bearhug/pull/push, and gives a tiny little bit of physical back, he gets a foul given against him!

Crazy.
