Fair play going for 3 premiums I think kane under conte is going to smash it. Would love KDB but worry about his injury record. I could put cancelo in as I thought Cucurella would be in by now and our full backs would rotated more for 7 mil he needs to be a nailed on starter for me. Was thinking that myself but if ones value goes up and the other one goes down you are stuck.
 
Going back to the original "have all been on City's books", you could also maybe have Wayne Hennessey, Ian Poveda & of course everyone's favourite ex-City player, James Milner ?

(S)alah - Sancho - Grealish - Martinelli

Bench fodder, plus 0.5m left over for Kane / Haaland swapsies (if price rises catch me out)

Pros
Managed to squeeze in 2 Cityzens (previously had 0)

Cons
No Cancelo.
Not taking advantage of 3rd dipper.
No 8.0m midfielder placeholder present (Diaz, Saka, Kulu, Mahrez, Maddison)
Tommy Toucans defence looks suspect in preseason.
Poverty bench subs.

Mulling over
Mendy, James, Martinelli out for 4.5 GK, Gabriel, Saka.
Grealish out for Neto, Martinelli out for Saka.

Any thoughts?

I originally had a Chelsea triple at the back (mendy, james, Chilwell) but they look all over the shop and the managers comments won't help. Bin off sancho as he plays for the rags? Lol could you swap James or dias for dier then upgrade grealish to an 8mil mid diaz maybe,, spurs defence was great second half of the season and dier seems the only nailed on player. I'm toying with the idea of early bench boast say week 2 or 3 then wildcard ING.

Solid dude but there will be a fair amount of points and money on your bench would swap out Gallagher (unknown if he will play) and rice (too defensive) for Bailey (bit of a gamble but has been excellent in preseason missed most of last season due to fitness issues) and martinelli (should be starting as Smith-Rowe is having fitness issues and finish last season as starting lw for 6mil he should be a bargain).

Great shout, Grealish was in the team to compensate for a lack of Haaland's presence, and I feel he could be his main supply line for assists. However, as I'm planning on a Kane/Haaland swapsies your suggestion makes more sense, thanx.

Grealishs pre season makes me want to put him in but will he play enough? Diaz is the safe bet with jota out and mane gone plus you can swap him for any of the other 8 mil mids if they hit form hopefully foden! Lol

Heres were im at at the moment:

The goal is to set it up so it easy to move between players. Eg will likely move from Kane to Haaland

Unlikely will keep the Wolves Double up at back, but definetly want one with their fixtures. Might even swap Rashford for Neto.

On Rashford, I think rags will start well and if he finds his form from previous seasons hes a bargain.

Contemplating down grading Diaz and upgrading the 4.5 defender to James/Chilwell/Zinchenko/Robertson but sort of want and 8m midfielder.

Delap only there if he moves to Saints

I think it would be useful to have. 5m in bank so looking like swapping Sa to Raya or Sanchez

I have a no rags rule and only scpuser I ever put in is salah and probably wull ao midfield wl get a shake up before season starts.

rice is because I had only £5M left and he was the most likely option to get at least 2 points a game

I alwaya play 3 4 3 so the most expensive player and more likely to get me points will play

Meant leon Bailey at villa, rice is solid as he will get you almost guaranteed points but few goals and assists but afew hammers fans I know are saying he could have more licence to roam this season as they have brought in another dm. If he tacks in afew goals could be a bargain.

Like it only concern is minutes for rashford, grealish and ait-nouri. If rashford is playing every week he is a steal for 6.5 as is grealish for 7 the double up on wolves is great as they a defensively sound and have a great run of opening fixtures. Would change your keeper to wolves back up if he is 4 mil unless you want to bring in neto, means if your keeper is injured or suspended you have a 4mil starter.
