FPL - Fantasy Premier League - 2024/25

Swings and roundabouts Jim.

If someone told you beforehand Chelsea would score 5, and the dippers 3 who would you captain?

I'm more annoyed that I have 2 Wolves players, they are utter dog shit.
I had two of them as well (Ait Nouri and Cunha). A grand total of 2 pts. 53 pts at the moment, with the Salah bonus added on. Pedro and Mitoma hat tricks tonight, please!

That AND both fixtures. I figured Newcastle at home would be up for it, and thankfully they were, which is why I kept Gvardiol at home and didn't jump on a LIV defender playing at St. James.

Same thoughts here. They were playing the most inept offensive team, and they let 4 in?? So much for the pre-match relief that Ait-Nouri was first off my bench. I suppose I should at least be thankful it wasn't negative points?!

I can actually move him to either VVD or TAA and simply keep Gvardiol given I've gone budget on my strikers, and the thought really is tempting me, but that is a lot of £ in DEF. Really don't want to move off of Gabriel either as I'm hoping he was just rested. But it stinks losing out on a min 6 pointer vs. the blanking Rags (LOL).

I'll have to do something about Akanji. The FPL site is saying a 50% chance of him playing against Palace. I have Van Den Berg and Stephens on my bench (though the latter is suspended until boxing day). I can afford the likes of Timber, Dias, Porro or Schar. Tempted to go for Timber.

The big lead I held after a few weeks in my mini league has dissipated and I now sit 2nd for the first time this season.

A lot of it is down to Haaland's goals drying up, as the few people behind me don't have him.
Keep thinking its a matter of time to he scores another hat trick or 4 and therefore keep captaining him

I wonder if Gabriel got a concussion in the last game against West Ham given he took a punch off the keeper. Not sure if he will be available at the weekend if that's the case?

Everything I read after that was that Gabriel wasn't removed in the 2nd half of West Ham with a concussion protocol, so he is available for any game.

Reading this, it appears he'll be back. I certainly can't afford to have Saliba getting his goals and bonus points much longer! ;-)

I'm surprised you haven't been passed earlier. I commend your knees holding strong, but the models have clearly shifted.

I suppose the only question is, who among Salah, Palmer, and Saka are you having to do without?

It certainly can't be the first listed as that is simply not sustainable to keep doing without. I caved GW12 after 5 out of 6 red arrows after being starved since the GW06 disaster WC in removing him. 2 green since, with this week a close borderline.
