I think some fans think this is all monopoly money. You cannot just keep offering more and more and hope someone says yes.

They have legitimate reasons not to sell now and we cannot make them if they choose not to.

So there really is nothing we can do to pressure this through.

It looks unlikely they are going to change their mind at the 11th hour. Why would they now? Hence Pep saying 95% sure nothing will happen.

You never know - they might just do a last minute about turn. But I think the view must be from those present at the scene that this deal is stalled for now or we would likely not be going so fiercely for Mahrez.

disappointed when rumours started that we were going to look for a forward instead, in this window....think the squad needs Fred more than a Mahrez...
