Milinkovic-Savic would be a dream signing, but he’ll cost a fortune (upwards of £100m). Nevertheless, he’d instantly improve us and you can’t say that about many. If we just signed him and Mahrez then that would set us up nicely for retaining the title.

Then you are nullifying the best parts of his game. Look at Pogba at United shackled by Mourinho, looks half the player he was and can be. Much rather a specialist cdm personally.

I would always get nervous with who the rags are connected too, and their potential targets. But happily they have knack of ruining good players under borinho, so at the moment they can purchase whoever they like, they just have the wrong coach to formulate a good team.

Did you really watch the game?? I dont think so. Fred and Florenzi were the best players in the pitch.

Not at all. The best parts of SMS's game are his distribution, his driving runs from deep and his aerial ability. Those are all parts of the game that Fernandinho has ample opportunities to show off in every game we play.


Looking at Mourinho doing a terrible job at coaching Pogba and saying "look at that, it'll never work" is beyond silly, 2 completely different teams, set up in different ways, asking different things of their defensive players, and 2 managers with vastly different abilities at coaching individuals to add things to their game. You cannot compare the two.

Moving SMS to pivot would no more nullify his game than moving KDB and David Silva, 2 classic number 10's, to deeper midfield positions and making them press, track back and tackle twice as much their games.

Any player in that 6 position is going to be on the ball more than anyone else in the game, and will have as many opportunities as they like to attack, covered by the fullbacks tucking in and even KDB dropping back there to start things from deeper.

I was watching the game and wasn’t impressed with what I saw from him or anyone else on the Shakhtar team tonight. Simple

I'd be gutted if we didn't get Fred, but the player I want because of his potential, he can speak fluent English, wouldn't have to move far, is still young & more importantly is on a free is Emre Can.

He can play as a CM, CDM & CB. Getting him would make perfect sense in so many levels...
