Why any player would want to go there instead of City is disappointing and bewildering. Clearly says more about the greed of the player than any allure of the club these days. Choosing to play under pegs negative yesteryear regime instead of Pep's visionary flowing ethos says it all.

This comment would be relevant if we were actually in for him. We looked elsewhere after we couldn't sign him for the right price in January. I'd imagine if we genuinely were after him right now, it would be us agreeing a deal - we're after Jorginho instead.

Did Pogba and Sanchez weigh everything or just the money?

I think they totally looked at money. I think with Fred it showed our renewed transfer policy of not getting into a bidding war, as soon as the scum were mentioned, we changed priorities.

It just appears Utd’s transfer policy is just following us around and trying to outbid us on targets.

Everything. On the side of Sanchez was
1. Fantastic money
2. They want me more
3. Tougher challenge:.

On the other side:
Great manager
Less money
Easier challenge

There is value to both sides

Welcome to Manchester United Fred! Everything Jose wants in a player. The right age, the right experience and a proven winner! At £52M, an absolute bargain!

The reality is City was in many ways a bigger challenge and he seemed to prefer United because he’d probably get more game time. Maureen might be a twat but playing for Pep is a harder gig.
