So stupid-ass fox soccer channel decided that wigan, bolton, everton, and a bunch of other shit squads would make better viewing for the american fan this weekend than my beloved City. No City on the tv for the next two weeks in fact based on the guide. I knew this would happen eventually, but I thought that with the improved status of City this year, the matches would be on more than they have been the past few years...
I desperately need either:
A) A way to watch the game live/streamed/etc. (preferable)
or,
B) More of those delightful download links you guys put up right after the match so I can DL the full match as soon as possible right after the game and watch it asap.
I see this sort of thing on posts from time to time and was searching for a more specific one, but this is what I found. What do you other City fans from around the world do in this situation?
I subscribe to FoxSoccer Plus through DirecTV. They are showing the match almost live tomorrow (30 min delay because they're showing Tottenham/Liverpool live first). It's an extra 15 bucks a month or so, but between that and the regular FSC subscription, I have seen every city match live or delayed since they started the channels over here.
thinking of making the switch to direct tv. my cable company doesn't offer plus so I am limited to fsc and goltv alone. my good friend claims direct tv offers an incredibly low introductory price for the first year (then reverts to around what I am paying now for cable), has better picture quality for the football matches. that, along with the option of upgrading to fsc plus so I can get all the city matches looks to be all the reason I need.
besides football, are you also pleased with direct tv otherwise?
Absolutely. Definitely better than any cable options around me.
