Is it possible to connect a HTC One Mini to a telly ? I've heard the Media Link gadget is not very reliable. Can it be done with a lead ?

HDMI usb adapter and a HDMI cable. Basically you plug your charger and phone into the in section on the adapter and the HDMI cable from the out part and then into your TV. Select your TV yo view HDMI and basically what you see on your phone appears on tje tele. I use airstream as well to watch movies from my PC hard drive through my phone to my TV.

You can also wirelessly mirror your phone to your smart tv which is dead handy :-)

told my lad about the app, he got it and says it works great.
i dont have an android phone myself but do have an old mac, is there something similar for mac that doesnt involve xbmc?

for mac or iphone anyone?

Unfortunately google play has removed it but is now letting you but it on chromecast which is an absolute result.
