Apparently Seydou Keita is available on a free because he didn't play a certain amount of games this year.

For me this would be a no brainer, with him and Yaya in midfield we wouldn't play a game without 60+ possession all year (unless we play Barca or Real Madrid in the CL).

Guardiola spoke of him very highly, he said he was his 'moral compass'. If we want to be successful in Europe we need people like him to be in our squad.

I think (not 100% sure) that he had the highest passing accuracy in all the top European leagues this season too. Something like 93.5%.

I really, really hope Mancini follows this up.

Would be the signing of the season if it went right.

I'm sure I read that Liverpool were interested at one stage but at the moment they haven't got a confirmed manager, albeit Martinez looks very likely to take the position.

I don't think Drenthe is good enough for us personally. He wouldn't be bad on a free but we've got bigger fish to fry long-term.
