I think most agree De Jong is not coming in January. Hopefully we can finalize a deal though and let him stay at Ajax until the summer. I don't see Wolves selling Neves in January either, and they may want too much for him anyway. So the question is, do we buy Ndombele in January for the immediate help and if we do, can we fit Fernandinho, Ndombele and De Jong in the squad for next season?

The DM role and keeper are the two positions without world class cover so I expect we will try for a DM in Jan

Never ever go with the short term option, it very rarely works out (e.g. Bravo). I’d much rather wait and get who we want.

Dont know what makes you think we'd buy both , we have no need for both. Doubt Ndombele will go in January either if Lyon are still in the c/ l

If we get ndombele in jan and wait for fdj till the summer, we should sell gundogan this summer so we can fit everyone in the squad. I would rather have ndombele as an #8 then gundogan and rotate him also in the dm role with fdj and fernandhino
