Swap for Rodri and BernieWould love him at City but we’re stacked in this position right now, maybe when Fern has left?!

I don't think it is excessive, we have a weakness at CM, Fern is old, later in the season I can't see him playing many minutes and in the big games Rodri is immobile, De Jong is a class long term asset.Swap him and Bernie, makes more and more sense.
They already have Busqets and Pjanic to play in that deeper role, Silva next to Pedri a little higher works.
While for us, De Jong might seem excessive with Dinho and Rodri, but looking to the future it makes alot of sense, both he and Rodri could also play as CBs in a back 3, very flexible.
Buster Phillips really let himself go after leaving us

There certainly is, because 1% is a really, really small chance.I wonder if there's even a 1% chance of us engineering some kind of swap deal for this lad.
Feels like this is the time to raid any Barca players we fancy going forward, ha.
Doyle? If you’re referring to someone that is seen as the future prospect for the DM position, that would be Lavia. I know Doyle can play there but he’s more comfortable at CM. If things had worked differently in the past, De Jong would be here and not Rodri. Nonetheless, I can’t see Barca letting him go.I'd love to have him when Fern goes to MLS or something. A Bernardo swap would work for everyone. Sadly, it would also mean Doyle won't be getting his chance.
Are Barca is any position to turn down any sensible offer for anyone?Doyle? If you’re referring to someone that is seen as the future prospect for the DM position, that would be Lavia.
