Frenkie de Jong

I’m gonna be so pissed if City stand down, getting Phillips, whom I like, and let the rags get De Jong...

You’d better get prepared for disappointment then mate, because that’s exactly what’s going to happen!

Why would he want to go to that shitshow and miss out on winning trophies or even playing in the CL? May just as well go to Newcastle.

Surely if he moves and we don’t want him he’ll go to a club in the CL.

The rags finished around 35 points behind us and we have already signed Haaland and Alvarez? They have a transfer budget of £100m plus sales and have just lost players for free! Their debt is rising, no champions league football and de Jong genuinely doesn’t want to go there!

De Jong or Bellingham, not DeJong or Phillips, Philips is not in the equation he replaces 2022 Fern , Bellingham replaces Gundo next year hopefully.
Rodri has replaced 2019 Fern.

I don’t think he does particularly want to go there.

But it seems like Barca is pushing him out because their finances are fucked, and he has very few options who’ll pay him the money he’s currently on.

We clearly won’t. Spain is out. I can’t see any Italian clubs going in for him. Bayern are too cautious. Other English CL clubs? There’s no way Spurs will pay him what he’s currently on. Nor Liverpool for that matter. Chelsea could be an option if they get rid of Jorginho - but their priorities this summer are in defence.

And we all know the Rags love nothing more than chucking money at a problem!
