Think he must be looking insane wages or something. He is a cracking player.
 
People who think we’d not be in on him because of wages really are very naive. That would definitely not stop us especially when United is the alternative. I’ll say no more because I don’t want an argument, but seriously, wake up.

What?

We’ve pulled out of several deals due to the finances, with United directly involved in at least two of those.

The fact that you think we’d go harder for them just because the alternative is United is bizarre and not true.

I think he means de Jong would probably take a Lower wage and join us then join united as the alternative on a higher wage

When United is the alternative, we tend to pull out mate.

We’ve done this time after time when a player is willing to entertain their interest alongside ours.

In fact it’s more likely his willingness to listen to United has firmed up our resolve to go absolutely nowhere near this deal.
 
Why is this thread even open? We distanced ourselves from him when the links appeared and he's going to the rags. Rather not discuss him at all.
