Yep. I actually think there's a good player in there somewhere, but for the fee and wages he'll be getting, you'd expect a truly world class player.

I get the argument that he improves united's midfield, but that doesn't stand up to much scrutiny, as I'd improve united's midfield, and I'm middle-aged and shit.

He hasn’t been anything special at Barca and I don’t think he’s anything special in general.

If he was truly one of the worlds truly top midfielders, then he would be much more in demand. Top clubs competing for titles don’t just let elite midfielders slip through their fingers.

I still think Man United are getting a very decent player and will be a good addition to their squad if he joins, but I’m certain nobody is going to be raving about how great he is this time next year.
