He is currently on £500,000 p/w no matter how you dice it.No he isn’t FFS.

We dont know if he will go.....the club are making a mistake to let him go if they do this close to the transfer deadline day as in answer to your second question, there is no one of equal quality that will be available....clubs will know how desperate we will be and would raise their valuations accordingly.
We would weaken our squad and FDJ is a player at present we dont need and his wages would be ridiculous.
He is an inferior player to Bernardo regardless of the fact they are different plaayers...thats exactly why he is inferior....FDJ is not the type of player (skill set or attitude wise) that we needFDJ is an inferior player to who?
Surely you’re not comparing him to Bernardo, because that’s completely irrelevant. You should be comparing him to Lucas Paqueta or whoever the other Bernardo replacements are supposed to be.
Bernardo wants to go, the choice is whether (1) United/Chelsea pay Barcelona for De Jong and they buy Bernardo with it, leaving us a week to find and buy a replacement from some other club
or (2) we arrange some sort of swap.
Secondly, why do people keep hammering this made up crap about his wages when Marca have released every detail of his contract and it’s normal? And it was posted in this thread 10 times. His salary is £225k/week. It’s not 400k or 500k or 1m a week or whatever else people keep posting.
Lastly, just because Chelsea offered to pay his deferred wages doesn’t mean we have to, nor United if he goes there. Barcelona need to get rid of him, any good negotiator should be able to get them to pay him the owed money to save paying him the full amount.
Not mention his agent wanting a slice. He is an inferior player to Bernardo regardless of the fact they are different plaayers...thats exactly why he is inferior....FDJ is not the type of player (skill set or attitude wise) that we need
Bernardo may want to go (no argument) BUT should the club let him go this close to deadline day......now there is an argument to say that would be a big mistake.
You think FDJ is going to forgo 17m euros to leave Barca....would you? He will want some sort of compensation.
Except it's not his salary at all. This is not true at all.
His salary is 14m euros a season. £225k
The reason he’s supposed to be getting paid €22m for the next few seasons is because he deferred €17m over the last 2 years.
Correct. If that were the case Bernardo -de Jong transfer would be over by nowWe are not going to sign de Jong or we are suddenly going to swap him either.

If he was only getting 14m a season barce wouldn't be trying to launch him out the door headfirst.
