Not wanting to move to that fuck-up of a club is perfectly understandable, so I think that should be disregarded in any conversation.
If he turned down the chance to play under Ten Hag at United last year despite Barcelona seemingly being desperate to get rid of him, I would assume he's another Bale and is happy to just stay in Spain and collect a paycheck.
This is an Ajax thing, the arrogance of the club is astounding. The players are led to believe that they are the best and only Barcelona will do. He won't move to us.
