I said the same earlier above that post. it’s not he doesn’t want to leave, he’s milk8ng them for what he’s owed! And I agree, I don’t blame him at all.

Barca seems to have adopted this weird mentality where they think they are a charity and everyone should help them out just because they are barca

Barça owe him millions in deferred wages. Barça wanted rid of him, but also wanted to write off what they owed him.

He clearly stated he's going nowhere until they pay him what he's contractually owed. Can't blame him really...

Like i said i havent seen enough of him to know that and when i havent seen him, he certainly didnt stand out as being head and shoulders above everyone else

I seem to remember one tournament where he shone, can’t remember if it was the Euros or a World Cup but there was huge hype around him. He then was linked with everyone and signed for Barça. He was outstanding that comp but many a player is to then never perform that way again.

As mentioned above, I think he does but he also wants the millions he’s owed in deferred wages and bonus’ too.

Nothing suggests this deal will happen. There is no links at all about him joining us. Just some obsessed posters on here that seems to think that if they just keep bumping this thread every day Txiki will eventually see it, look up who FDJ is and make a bid.

This thread is just:
1 - "I think FDJ is great and want us to sign him"
2 - "Any links with us?"
3 - "No, but Barcelona are open to selling him so we should get him"
4 - "He doesn't want to take a pay cut so wont happen"
5 - "Barcelona are treating him terrible so why would he want to stay"
6 - "Because of his high salary"
7 - "He would be way better off here, we are the best team in the world"
8 - "We still dont want to pay that salary, so it wont happen"

Repeat.

The Mbappe and Neymar threads have another 100+ pages on this one and we've never been realistically linked to either. The Harry Kane thread is still going and approaching 4000 pages. The Jude Bellingham one is over 1000.

Most of them have been going in circles since the first few pages.

That's just what this forum is.

Maybe this is a point of law/contract I dont understand but surely even if he left he would still be owed those wages and Barca couldnt not pay him if they do owe him?

Very true but this is Barca, not all clubs are as well run and obey financial rules and contracts like what we do

But surely its really simple...they dont pay, he takes them to court and gets his money (and more) from that......its not like he has refused to work. They have even tried to sell him so surely they (Barca) havent got a leg to stand on?
