true! lol. Hopefully Frenkie realises he made a mistake last time and khaldoon is that pissed off with the other night that he backs pep in the market to improve the squad with world class talent and not squad fillers.
Just reading the English Barcelona forum(yes that is a thing) and none of the posters on their particulary rate him. A lack of pace seems to be one of the main complaints re de jong and I can’t help but feel we need someone who will inject some pace and power to our side.
Can’t say Im excited re this link tbh, there is better options out there imo.

Not convinced by him or the need for him. Seems kind similar to our midfielders now. Feel like we need something a bit different - strong, powerful midfielder

Im thinking: could the brief months ago about us putting the lb singning on hold actually be because we got the nod from Barca that FDJ was available?true! lol. So now we are looking for a cheap lb not because the transfer budget demands it but because of balancing the wage structure.
ps. I love briefs after a bad loss, makes me think of shiny new toys rather than the cruelty of football.

Know they are getting Kessie on a free from Milan too.. Guess it makes sense as De Jong has highish wages and like all the Ajax players from that team hasn't exactly been the generational talent he was meant to be

The profile of our midfielder right now is perfect imo, the problem is that alot of them are the wrong side of 30.Not convinced by him or the need for him. Seems kind similar to our midfielders now. Feel like we need something a bit different - strong, powerful midfielder
So replacing ferna and gundo, with FDJ and Bellingham next season is perfect imo even though they’re of a similar profile.
