He is on too much money and he isn't willing to take another paycut to help them register their new signings.I watched barca game today. I don't get Gavi hype. Frenkie change the space of the game when he came on..I don't get why barca want to sell frenkie.
Seems like people here think our players are on peanuts and every other player in other clubs are getting 1 million a week.Again regurgitating bollocks about his wages.
Every single comment, what is going on in this thread?!
Whenever we buy players the deals often get held up until the selling club brings in a replacement. Why we wouldn't tell Barcelona the same thing here is beyond me.Agree with the first bit. I don’t think we’ll be scrabbling around for a Bernardo replacement though. I imagine we know already who we’ll go for (maybe Paqueta or Nunes) and probably have a deal in principle lined up. If Bernardo goes this window, and I very much hope he doesn’t, I think we’ll move very quickly and decisively for a replacement.
It's a cult. There's a heap of things they are doing that make no sense to anyone else.I watched barca game today. I don't get Gavi hype. Frenkie changed the pace of the game when he came on..I don't get why barca want to sell frenkie.
If the player want to go then he goes, he has reportedly wanted to go for the last two summers but we had no serious offers, so he stayed and gave his all, he has been a magnificent player for us but let's not kid ourselves he wants to still be here.We dont know if he will go.....the club are making a mistake to let him go if they do this close to the transfer deadline day as in answer to your second question, there is no one of equal quality that will be available....clubs will know how desperate we will be and would raise their valuations accordingly.
We would weaken our squad and FDJ is a player at present we dont need and his wages would be ridiculous.
What if we get the replacement in and Barca renege? As we’ve seen this summer, it’s not below them. It’s not a bad idea anyway, getting the replacement in before Bernardo leaves, even if it’s next summer but then, I don’t know what the situation is with money for wages and transfer fees. But if any action we take depends on Barca following through on a promise, we shouldn’t do it.Whenever we buy players the deals often get held up until the selling club brings in a replacement. Why we wouldn't tell Barcelona the same thing here is beyond me.
