True about the wages but they need a midfielder and he would fit them twats like a glove as well

At this point i’d do Bernardo + £15mill for FDJ. Bernardo has made too much noise for me now and it’s obvious he will leave next season if not this, FDJ is world class and would fit our squad and style, he would also massively improve any of our rivals.

No. I’d say both are a similar level, but Bernardo seems desperate to leave which decreases his value - so I’d pay it.

He’s a good player.

In an ideal world we just keep Bernardo for another 5 years, but that seems incredibly unlikely.

Next best for me is keep Bernardo this season, then do a swap for FDJ next season. But again seems unlikely as Barca appear to need to offload this season.

Third best is do the swap this year.

Worst case is lose Bernardo this season and FDJ goes to a rival. Would hope we are smart enough not to let this happen.
