Ajay Backs Hughes... following his appointment in place of Gary 'Bottled It' Cook.

This massive vote of confidence from one of ADUG's most influential players comes as a huge surprise to many outside observers following the Hamburg humiliation which brought a swift end to City's season [both this one and the next]. However, owner Sheikh Mansour has been quoted as saying 'We all believe in Ajay and so should you!'. So much so that a new 'Ajay Law' is being apparantely being drafted in Abu Dhabi to make any criticism of Ajay punishable by a lifetime of banishment from all of the Emirates and, of course, the City of Manchester Stadium. One lifelong supporter who now faces such a ban was quoted on a fans' internet forum as stating that 'I have been aware of the Ajay fanatics for some time and it has now come to the point where I daren't even turn on my computer, let alone attempt to watch my team play. So much for free speech!'. That fan has apparently now switched his allegiance [and sport] to Sale Sharks where no such Ajay effect exists, not yet anyway. 'So Mark what went wrong tonite?'

'Well the players were looking tired, the stress of playing all those games doesn't help and the weight of carrying there huge
huge wallets around doesn't help either. If you look at Ireland he doesn't have a problem as we pay him far less than any other player and you can see that when he runs around a lot more. Anyway I'll just keep saying there tired and it takes time and every city fan will understand that I think their thick and they will not see through me.'
