Friday sick club

Any other work places have a ‘Friday sick club’ when all the long term sick, malingerers, skivers, have a day out on the piss in town.
PS doesn’t have to be a Friday

I’ve had the worst gastric/flu like symptoms since Tuesday so I’ve been in the most of the week so far club.

Not here but an early job allowed you to leave at 3pm on a Friday if you had your hours up. I’d have late lunch finishing at 2pm, work an hour and fuck off. Great days.

CIS tower at Miller Street. It ended in tears but was good for starting a weekend early.

A woman that does that regular where i work,ie ,has an extra day after a bank holiday 4 or 5 times a year, she just had 37 weeks sick till last january.
She has just been promoted and moved up a pay band.
Nothing beats the NHS for piss takers fully
encouraged and condoned and allowed by management and HR

I feel for you 44. Doing the right thing and seeing piss takers every day.
Must be hard to stay in that job and not look at the private sector?
