From the Hyde United Supporters

How about the possibility of setting a certain target to raise and promising to change the name of the club to Hyde City instead?

you guys might be onto something here. Put a proposal to the Hyde board that if the City supporters raised £x amount that a name change (To Hyde City)and kit colour change(to sky blue) is to be implemented. I'm sure a lot more blues would take part in raising money as long as it was made a contractual obligation.

Everybody has a price and its better than the Club going bust and dissappearing......It would also be another little victory in the revolution that is Manchester City FC.

Understand where you are coming from but this is about Hyde United not our obsession with the rags. After all we didn't insist on this when we bailed out the rags themselves on a couple of occasions in the past.

Having said that it would surely result in mass donations from United fans to keep the name and the red shirts.......

4 terraces to pick from, a Phoenix Nights social club complete with stage and tinsle backdrop, pies, decent beer. Got to be worth it for a fiver. Mind you last time I went the guy on the tannoy played the Village People, George Formby & New Order. Now that's a pre-match mix to suggest for the Burnley game.

Dont suppose you happen to be nick leeson with that sort of financial advice?

If I was giving financial advice to Hyde United it would be to pay the tax man like all the other Tameside non-league clubs have to do, that way they wouldn't have to rely on other people to bail them out via bucket collections etc.

What a fucking arsehole.

I am ashamed you are on this site.

Edit

Ah just the 20 post's and another fine addition to this once glorious place.
