If I was giving financial advice to Hyde United it would be to pay the tax man like all the other Tameside non-league clubs have to do, that way they wouldn't have to rely on other people to bail them out via bucket collections etc.

What a fucking arsehole.

I am ashamed you are on this site.

Edit

Dont suppose you happen to be nick leeson with that sort of financial advice?

So badly ill informed, clubs down the lower leagues are all suffering they rely on small businesses for sponsorship...major recession firms as a result unwilling to part with their money, fans hit by said recession not attending smaller gates less money. Same situation at clubs in the league Bournemouth nearly went under Chester City are dicing with death as are Accrington. I think it's a fantastic gesture by Hyde to say any Manchester City fan who produces their card gets in for £5 had I lived closer to Manchester I would have gone on Sat.

Dave S is spot on. It's very easy to not pay the tax man like all other non-league clubs do and spend three times as much on wages than all the clubs around you and have a year of good times whilst the clubs around you are struggling and then come shaking buckets asking us to bail them out when it all goes tits up. That's why i didn't give anything to Hyde against West Ham and have given nothing to any other clubs in trouble as it is a very quick and easy get out clause.

Allthough i will be willing to give some money to Hyde if they change to Hyde City and play in Sky blue.

I think Dave S is a Droylsden supporter, so i would treat his comments with contempt. It's a bit like a City fan saying they'd put in a bucket collection for the Rags were they to go tit's up with The Glazers(could happen, fingers crossed). Here's Dave S on the Droylsden forum. I particularly like the comment where he says he'd rather stick nails in his eyes than watch Stalybridge Celtic(another of Droylsden's local rivals). Good luck on saturday, Hyde. I'll try & get down to the game. Surely they can beat a team named after a car company?!

Dave S has a short memory. Droylsden were close to ruin a few years ago. However, a fire at the ground led to a significant pay out. The timing of the fire was perfect

what are you suggesting MiL..........lol.

I think it's a brilliant idea and if I could go I would!

Altrincham FC are another Club who struggle. They do this regularly on International weekends to any Premier or Champs League supporters on production of their seasoncard. It certainly helps them to get more people through the gates!

The match your referring to was FC United v Stalybridge Celtic.

Badly informed? I don't think so.

Sorry. I didn't realise you had to have more than 20 posts to give an opinion on something. I'll try to curb my behaviour in future.
