Fuck off Platini

'Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, the chairman of Bayern ****** who heads the new ' body, is pushing for a 50% limit of turnover going on wages.'
Of course he does - Bayern's turnover is almost double what any other team in the bundesliga's is. Therefore they will have a massive advantage over every other team in the league.

Also Platini said - "In Manchester City they can work with all the young players in Manchester and bring them to the academy and they become like Kaka.". Sorry I did not know that Kaka was born in Milan.
The problem with this 50% scheme is that it will just mean that as with Kaka, Rooney, Walcott, etc any talented young player will automatically go to the 'champions' league clubs as they can now more than ever outdo everyone in the wages department.

I read last night it is believed that the team that wins the champions league this year will benifit to the tune of an estimated 100 million pounds and last 16 teams will average 46 million. This scheme is not about levelling the playing field between teams, it is just UEFA, like the FA, corupting the game to ensure that the so called Big 4 type teams are unopposed forever more on this gravy train.

Also - if Villa break sneak the top 4, do you think they will be seeded to ensure easier passage to the last 16 of the champions league?
Will they fuck, and the same will go for us when we get there.

Corrupt bastards the lot of them

This guy at Bayern Munich is doing this because of Hoffinhein. Its so it will pretty much guarantee them the lge every year.

This would also push ticket prices up. We cant let this happen.

Not really a worry.

1. It wont be allowed by law for any EU country.
2. We'll get a big sponsor through the Sheik's connections, which by the letter of the law will be completely legitimate.
3. Not going to happen, anyway.

Platini can say what he wants. It makes no difference.

I agree that it has about as much chance of happening as the FA treating the big 4 on the same level as all other teams. But if it were to happen then it wouldn't have an impact on ourselves but it would virtually guarantee a "Scottish League" scenario with only a few teams competing (more so than present).
