Fulham (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

What a manager. Guiding us through the last couple of months.
Pep has come in for a fair bit of criticism but, as you say, the run in was superb. Pep must get some new ideas together to beat the low block and make us less predictable. The stats today show we played more long balls than Fulham.

7-2-0 after last international break. Wasn't always convincing in that run but got it over the line. Not sure City is favorites next year - maybe third choice - but definitely should be better.

Finishing 3rd after the November/December form and injuries is a great recovery..

Haaland was pretty poor today don't know if it's a confident thing or he has a slight injury!? There was few times he was not gambling in the box where he could of had an easy goal, also there was moment where Marmoush worked how socks of to win the ball took the ball to the wing and Haaland never showed for it or moved into space! Marmoush on the right is not good for him and why do pep always do this with players!?

Crisis? What crisis?

Apparently, we had an absolute shit season, won nothing, but went to a Cup Final and finished a MASSIVE 3 pts behind Arsenal in 2nd place!!

Let that sink in! This is the worst season for City in about a decade, yet…

We are blessed to be living through this Manchester City era and, with some smart business this summer and the elevation of a few of the Academy players, the beginning of a new era.

Can hardly wait to see what we can do in the CWC, but even more interested to see what the next iteration of this great club will be.

LOVE THIS CLUB!!!

Couldn’t agree more, if the club had responded to many fans’ wishes, we would be mid table at best.

He doesn't look right after coming back and the team never seemed to adjust to his return. Much more fluid and better without him at full speed.

Right now I just want to be happy that this nightmare season is over.
I'm really happy that we'll be able to play in the Champions League next season.
Jesus wept, nightmare season? 3rd place finish and a cup final we would have likely won but for yet another appalling decision? I don't know how some of you lot would have coped when we ended up in the third tier after two disastrous seasons. You really need to stop expecting us to win everything all the time and learn to enjoy what we do win. Bet you were one of those that said we wouldn't make CL qualification.
