I thought Cherki did that quite well when he came on.Unfortunately we’ve got no player who puts his foot on the ball and slows the game down with good distribution

Yeah,to be fair I’ve calmed down a bit now, first half and the 10-15Full Members Cup Final Chelsea, near enough.
Our build up play has also become considerably harder.Awful performance
Spineless again from so many players...but the main issues persist.
Reijnders....besides the 30secs around his goal he did fuck all....go watch the game again...it just passes him by..he is walking most of the time while players like Bernardo and foden sprint around trying to win the ball back...he offers literally nothing
Donarumma - who were the people telling me over the summer that he is fine under the high ball when I said he was weak with crosses.....its literally every game he is costing us a goal or nearly costing us...he is an amzaing shot stopper but for someone who is 6,5 he is the biggest soft arse ever...if he had an ounce of Edersons bravery he would be world number 1
Fullbacks - both are an issue...NOR tries but he is getting done time and time again...Nunes we know the issues....
Stones came on (and I understand why Pep tried it - Nico G was on his last legs) but he can barely run.....again I said he should have been replaced over the summer
Savihno - sorry but Im done with him....he was through on goal and he bottled it and then tried to buy a foul....he should be in the reserves and nothing more
Pep cannot change this as he doesnt have the players to do so....rodri getting fit gives us more options but that aint happening quickly.....
If Arsenal dont win the title it will be the biggest bottle job in the history of football as we simply are bang average and should be nowhere near them
Yep, it's fuckin' terrible scoring 5 and being second, innit?!Yep Pep City legend but was always unsure if the 2 year extension was going to work
Maybe he should have walked away whilst still at the top
He was terrible again.Newcastle & Fulham offsides for a goal and Dias is the one defender playing them on.
Someone like any of those would soon be in yer face if you weren`t doing enough.Oh for a De Jong, Vinny or Fernandinho type player
Pep Guardiola: "Rodri will be back soon, but [Mateo] Kova will be long, and we don't have anyone [aside from Nico]. Today we proved it.What's he said?
Ederson is the simple answer I think. Think you're giving Arsenal too much credit, mind. But I agree with everything else. We used to be able to pass a team to death, now when we go up it's like we don't know whether to attack or defend and get caught doing neither.I thought they did. We were lucky to come away with a point at the Emirates in my opinion, although more because we just kept punting it out anywhere rather than trying to play out as opposed to them attacking us particularly effectively, but you always felt it was a matter of time before they scored that day.
The way Leverkusen defended the other night was the perfect example of how we should be doing it and had we done that at Arsenal I think we'd have won that and been top now, piling the pressure on Arsenal early.
I don't think it's so much the actual defending that's the problem but keep punting it out and giving the ball back to the opposition that's killing us. What happened to keeping the ball?
Thought their intensity was fantastic tonight, we couldn't cope with it in that 2nd half
Both of the 2nd halves of the past 2 games have been chaotic to say the least. The players are either deliberately or unintentionally all over the place.Donnarumma has serious weaknesses most notably coming for corners and ball playing. I’ve noticed that they’ve been showing up quite a lot lately.
Pep’s decisions since the international break make zero sense to me. Foden was hugging the touchline last game today he was in midfield. Cherki only comes on after the 80th min. Multiple chances to Savio and Reinjders etc
I have no clue what’s going on anymore
No, that’s not all that mattersA brilliantly entertaining game to watch, and some fantastic goals from both sides. Erling’s opener was a real thunderbastard, as were both of Phil’s. I thoroughly enjoyed it, though the final few minutes were rather nervy.
A great start, and at several points in the game, it looked like the points were secured. However, full credit must go to Fulham for making it a fabulous spectacle.
But, in the end, we won, and that’s all that matters.
And a Sky/media wankathonShout out to Gvardiol’s clearance for saving our entire fanbase from total headloss.
He can’t save an entire backline in his own. Gvardiol has been poor too for a long while. Nunes and OR aren’t real fullbacksHes absolutely wank, probably had 2 or 3 good seasons and that’s it!
Doku’s shot wasn’t on target but got deflected in.4 shot on target... 5 goals scored

If we're 1-5 up hope we don't let em back in, though to be fair don't see their prima donna's having Fulhams sprit.Bring on Real Madrid away.
I would pick the youth team in Madrid. The lads need a breather
We failed to sign a chap called Composjure. A big miss to the squad.I thought they did. Agree but he should of been on earlier, Peps substitutes were comical tonightI thought Cherki did that quite well when he came on.
There was a point late on in the game where we were coming under a lot of pressure but Savinho ran up the pitch with the ball from our penalty box instead of just punting it out in panic like most of our actual defenders were doing, but nobody seems to have noticed that.Yeah, I get that. It's a shame, as he did a few decent things but then gave it away cheaply at the end a few times. Like you say, he's got a lot to learn but far more senior players than him were making some shocking mistakes too. Cherki was excellent, I thought.
