Full Members Cup Final Chelsea, near enough.
Yeah,to be fair I’ve calmed down a bit now, first half and the 10-15
Second half we were very good attacking wise, but then we just fell apart stopped playing, crazy game, but it’s too much of a coincidence these drop offs in second half of games what is it mentality, nerves, disbelief that we are leading or poor game management from the players..

Awful performance

Spineless again from so many players...but the main issues persist.

Reijnders....besides the 30secs around his goal he did fuck all....go watch the game again...it just passes him by..he is walking most of the time while players like Bernardo and foden sprint around trying to win the ball back...he offers literally nothing

Donarumma - who were the people telling me over the summer that he is fine under the high ball when I said he was weak with crosses.....its literally every game he is costing us a goal or nearly costing us...he is an amzaing shot stopper but for someone who is 6,5 he is the biggest soft arse ever...if he had an ounce of Edersons bravery he would be world number 1

Fullbacks - both are an issue...NOR tries but he is getting done time and time again...Nunes we know the issues....

Stones came on (and I understand why Pep tried it - Nico G was on his last legs) but he can barely run.....again I said he should have been replaced over the summer

Savihno - sorry but Im done with him....he was through on goal and he bottled it and then tried to buy a foul....he should be in the reserves and nothing more

Pep cannot change this as he doesnt have the players to do so....rodri getting fit gives us more options but that aint happening quickly.....

If Arsenal dont win the title it will be the biggest bottle job in the history of football as we simply are bang average and should be nowhere near them
Our build up play has also become considerably harder.

Ederson’s patience on the ball reallh used to save us.

Our squad planning needs more consideration. You can’t just keep spending money. There are real issues. Everytime we try and fix one issue 2 pop up. Ederson shot stoping but Donnarumma is poor on cross and on the ball. Gundo/Kovatic lack of legs but Reinjders can’t win duels and Bernardo is old. Grealish impact but were stuck with Savio and Bobb.

What's he said?
Pep Guardiola: "Rodri will be back soon, but [Mateo] Kova will be long, and we don't have anyone [aside from Nico]. Today we proved it.

"We have to think about it, maybe Nico O'Reilly can play there, Rayan Ait-Nouri or Nathan [Ake] can play at left-back.

"We don't have [alternatives]; Tijjani [Reijnders] is more attacking positions. His position is the goal he scored, in the pockets and his movements are unstoppable - he's really good! We have to find something..."

I thought they did. We were lucky to come away with a point at the Emirates in my opinion, although more because we just kept punting it out anywhere rather than trying to play out as opposed to them attacking us particularly effectively, but you always felt it was a matter of time before they scored that day.

The way Leverkusen defended the other night was the perfect example of how we should be doing it and had we done that at Arsenal I think we'd have won that and been top now, piling the pressure on Arsenal early.

I don't think it's so much the actual defending that's the problem but keep punting it out and giving the ball back to the opposition that's killing us. What happened to keeping the ball?
Ederson is the simple answer I think. Think you're giving Arsenal too much credit, mind. But I agree with everything else. We used to be able to pass a team to death, now when we go up it's like we don't know whether to attack or defend and get caught doing neither.

Donnarumma has serious weaknesses most notably coming for corners and ball playing. I’ve noticed that they’ve been showing up quite a lot lately.

Pep’s decisions since the international break make zero sense to me. Foden was hugging the touchline last game today he was in midfield. Cherki only comes on after the 80th min. Multiple chances to Savio and Reinjders etc

I have no clue what’s going on anymore
Both of the 2nd halves of the past 2 games have been chaotic to say the least. The players are either deliberately or unintentionally all over the place.

A brilliantly entertaining game to watch, and some fantastic goals from both sides. Erling’s opener was a real thunderbastard, as were both of Phil’s. I thoroughly enjoyed it, though the final few minutes were rather nervy.

A great start, and at several points in the game, it looked like the points were secured. However, full credit must go to Fulham for making it a fabulous spectacle.

But, in the end, we won, and that’s all that matters.
No, that’s not all that matters

That's the sort of game football needs, exciting, end to end, nail biting, edge of your seat stuff, not dull, no intensity, no risk shite.

The result covered over our cracks, we made it a lot less comfortable than it should've been, but in a perverse kind of way I enjoyed it.

We failed to sign a chap called Composjure. A big miss to the squad.
We signed a lad called Pannickee instead

Yeah, I get that. It's a shame, as he did a few decent things but then gave it away cheaply at the end a few times. Like you say, he's got a lot to learn but far more senior players than him were making some shocking mistakes too. Cherki was excellent, I thought.
There was a point late on in the game where we were coming under a lot of pressure but Savinho ran up the pitch with the ball from our penalty box instead of just punting it out in panic like most of our actual defenders were doing, but nobody seems to have noticed that.
