Fulham (A) Post Match Thread

Excellent that. New formation was very promising, surprised it worked so well for a first time out, few tweaks and changes in players for bigger games and that's a real option going forward.

Plenty of key players got a rest tonight, fringe players of late got valuable minutes, Pep used his subs really well too. Sergio got his goal, clean sheet, perfect night.
 
A sloppy and frustrating start to the game - attributed to the changes and Fulham's press - but eventually some control comes; and space begins to emerge, particularly down the right. A tough watch for the remainder of the first half; with hope there's light at the end of this particular tunnel.

Lovely. The "Renaissance Man" provides my wish and the game should now open up. Well played Gabby! 2-0 and that's pretty much three points and a seventeen point lead. A dubious penalty scored by the "old fox" and it could be carnage.

Nope! 3-0 it ends. Since the derby loss its been 8-2 and more than anything; I'm not surprised yet still impressed by this fortitude of skill and mental strength. The Premier League is slowly but surely returning after the dubiousness of last season.
 
Good win and few players get a rest, Spot on in the end from Pep, I don't know why sometimes doubt him
 
watching how they tried to pass out from the back, knew we'd pounce on a mistake and poach a pressure goal, turns out we got 2
 
Didn't really give Fulham a sniff, I can't remember them having a decent chance of scoring.

Didn't play great first half but it was only going to go one way after we got the first goal. Worked out OK as rested players and others coming back in got game time.

I found it a bit boring to watch, can we resurrect the worst football since Pearce thread?
 
Immense levels of flapping on the matchday thread. Last 15 were about as easy as it gets. Total cruise control. Well played to everyone in a City shirt. Nice to see Sergio bag the penalty. Thought Fulham played well first half but 3 goals in a 15 minute spell put it to bed. Nice to see the squad fully utilised and punish their errors.
 
Didn’t like the formation, didn’t like the starting line up, team won easily, well done Pep. Stones mom for me.
