Is this a return to how pep originally wanted to play when he first rocked up 4 yrs ago with 3 at the back and wing backs...which was hardly ever done due to consistent injuries to Mendy in particular?

I am glad Mendy is getting a game. If he can somehow get near the level he was when he arrived he will be useful. If it’s 5-3-2 it may give him license to whip in some crosses and concentrate less on defending.
